DTHA 2023: APC inaugurates campaign council for Merogun, expresses optimism for victory

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Warri South Local Government Area, on Sunday October 9, inaugurated its campaign council for the party’s Warri South Constituency I House of Assembly candidate, Dr. Michael Eyituoyo Merogun, Our Senior Correspondent reports.

 

The APC Delta South Senatorial District Chairman, Mr. Austin Oribioye, while inaugurating the campaign organization, tagged; ‘MEMCO’, expressed optimism that all APC candidates, from top to bottom, will emerge victorious in the forthcoming February and March 2023 general polls.

 

 

 

Dr. Merogun, Speaks:

 

Fresh Angle International can report that the Dr. Michael Eyituoyo Merogun Campaign Organization, has a 14-member campaign team, with additional 14 members selected from the six federal wards in Warri South Constituency I. The additional 14 members, will function as ward coordinators and co-coordinators.

 

Mr. Oribioye, charged members of the campaign council to serve diligently and remain goal-oriented, so as to ensure victory at the polls for all APC candidates.

 

He opined that the member representing Warri South Constituency I in Delta State House of Assembly, Dr. Augustine Uroye, has failed woefully in the legislative mandate.

 

"He has embarked on the empowerment of few of his cronies. Uroye has no Bill to show for his representation. It is time for Dr. Merogun to takeover for super and vibrant youthful representation for Warri South Constituency I”, Oribioye, stated.

 

Chairman of APC in Warri South Local Government Area, Mr. Mario Owumi, commended members of APC for their support, charging members of MEMCO, “to have deep commitment, be devoted and focus spiritually”.

 

Mr. Owumi, tasked members of the campaign organization and other APC faithful to push the campaign message to the grassroots and canvass for votes at the unit to ward level, saying the party has brighter chance for victory in the 2023 polls, at tall levels.

Delta South Senatorial Coordinator for Tinubu/ Omo-Agege, Prince Yemi Emiko, in his keynote remarks, said: "We must deliver all our candidates in the election, our Governorship Candidate, Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, is ready to visit all wards in Warri and to get first hand needs of the people”.

 

The House of Assembly hopeful, Dr. Michael Merogun, while appreciating the people for their support, promised to attract empowerment for the constituents as well as provide security and development for the constituency, if given the mandate.

 

Dr. Merogun, appealed to eligible voters in Warri South Constituency I, to vote for him and other APC candidates in next year elections, urging members of his campaign organization to work as a team, in order to achieve the needed result of victory.

The Director – General of Delta APC Youth Campaign Directorate, Prince Stanley Oritsemolebi Emiko, expressed optimism that the party’s candidate, will clinch the Warri South Constituency I Seat, with hardwork of members of the APC in the area.

 

While responding on behalf of members of MEMCO, the Director-General, DG, Mr. Frank Uromieyaghan, promised to work with other members of the team in the quest to achieve victory, adding: “Now that Senator Omo-Agege and our youngest candidate, Dr. Merogun is on the ballot for 2023, there is no better time for our winning. Warri people like you (Dr. Merogun) they will deliver you, the people are behind you".
