FIRS alerts of scammers defrauding job seekers


 

The Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has again alerted members of the public of the activities of fraudsters, who are going about scamming and defrauding desperate job seekers with a fake offer of job placement in the Service for a fee.

 

The Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service, Muhammad Nami, who raised the fraud alert in a statement, stressed that FIRS is not recruiting and whenever it wishes to do so, all channels of communication will be utilized to inform the general public.

 

“The general public is once again called upon to be wary of the activities of the scammers and steer clear of them to avoid unpleasant consequences. The management of FIRS is not under any obligation to answer to any matter arising from the activities of scammers or fraudsters and will not be liable in any way.

 

“The general public is therefore urged to be guided accordingly”, the statement, noted.
