UGBOMRO ROADS IN TOTAL DISREPAIR, PLEASE SAVE OUR ROAD

Your Excellency,

The people of Ugbomro community wish to inform you that our roads have been by any successive past administrations being one of the oldest roads in the state.

It is painful your Excellency that in spite of the very huge sacrifice in giving our entire land for the establishment of the Federal University of Petroleum (FUPRE), the only road which cut across the community has been completely washed away by erosion, making life very difficult for our people while moving from place to place, our children find it very difficult to go to school.

It is however on record that the Ugbomro roads a part of the 2012 Delta State approved budget but they not done at all, they were also budgeted for in the 2013-2014 by the state but yet not done. The 3^rd time was the 2014-2015 but until the time of writing nothing has been done, we are therefore using this medium to urge your Excellency to investigate why in three consecutive times the Ugbomro roads were budgeted for but without implementation, it must be investigated with a view to bringing any erring person(s) to book, the era of absolute corruption is over.

The leadership of the community led by High Chief (Dr.) Chief Ambrose Olughor is appealing to you to use your good office to rectify the wrongs done to the community in the past. It is unacceptable that while our roads through which the University was constructed were completely abandoned while about two kilometers of road has been done for FUPRE, while we the host community, are swimming on mud to our houses.  Please come to our aid before our good becomes a curse.
