Chairmen and leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC in Bomadi, Burutu and Patani Local Government Areas in Delta State have identified with Chieftain of the party, Chief Ayirimi Emami, describing him as a “big fish” whose foray into the APC needs to be celebrated.
The APC Chairmen of Bomadi, Burutu and Patani Local Government Areas, Amabiri Paul Azorbo, Prince Owei and Joe Ekiyor respectively, who led other leaders of the party on Sunday August 30, to the Warri palatial home of Chief Ayirimi Emami, expressed delight at the membership of Chief Emami and declared that with his support, the party machinery in their Local Government Areas that had been threatened by members of the ruling opposition party in the State will now have a stronger structure.
They appealed to Chief Emami to assist them in the setting up of Local Government Area party secretariats and visit them with his supporters, insisting that his presence will go a long way in strengthening the APC in the three Ijaw dominated Local Government Areas.
In his remark, Chief Emami assured the APC leaders of his support and promised them that the issue of Local Government Area party secretariat would be immediately addressed.
