There is palpable anxiety among Nigerians as the National Assembly reconvenes Tuesday, September 29, just one day to the deadline President Muhammadu Buhari promised Nigerians to make public the list of ministerial nominees.
Fresh Angle International can report that the anxiety is even more intense following alleged plans by the Pro Lawan Senators, backed by the APC to impeach the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
While the ruling APC is burdened with the task of winning more Pro Saraki Senators in a bid to oust the embattled Senate President and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, the APC is also facing the challenge of conducting fresh gubernatorial primary in Bayelsa State same Tuesday the National Assembly is expected to reconvene awaiting the ministerial nominees.
Speculations are rife that the National leadership of the APC are disposed to swinging the party's gubernatorial ticket in Bayelsa State in favour of its new member and ex-President Goodluck Jonathan's man, Timi Alaibe, supporters of ex-governor Timipre Sylva are insisting the last primary that produced their principal was free and fair, insisting the outcome must stand, even though it appears APC National leadership seems to wanting to put their faith in Alaibe.

Meanwhile, as Nigerians look toward their 55th Independence celebration Thursday October 1, this week, it remains to be seen how the Senate under Bukola Saraki will handle the ministerial list expected to be made public as President Buhari returns to the country same Tuesday the National Assembly reconvenes.
