National President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor says he was the first to call Boko Haram a terrorist group when he addressed the US Congress in the early days of the sect's deadly attacks, but was heavily criticized when he returned home after the address.
Oritsejafor who made the statement Sunday October 4, 2015 at his Word Of Life Bible Church in Warri, Delta State shortly after a message, noted that the criticism became even worse when he asked Christians in the North East to defend themselves from the sect attacks, adding that his positions have become clearer today, with everyone calling the sect a terrorist group,” yet no one has apologized to me or give me the credit”.
The CAN President had Saturday October 3, issued a statement condemning Boko Haram's latest attack on Kuje and Iyanya,in Abuja area.
