Tribunal Judgment: Wike taunts APC over comments on judiciary
Governor Nyesom Wike

As Deltans look forward to the Governorship Tribunal Judgment 10:00am Monday October 26, 2015 between Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on one hand and Olorogun O'Tega Emerho of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru of Labour Party on the other hand, embattled Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has taunted the leadership of APC over comments credited to them regarding Tribunal Judgments so far.

Governor Wike said,” yesterday they had faith in the judiciary (referring to the Rivers State Governorship Tribunal Judgment) but when we got victory at the National Assembly Tribunal, it was described as fraudulent", adding" it was because of our faith in the judiciary that we brought the judiciary back on assumption of office on May 29,2015".

The Rivers State Governor who spoke Sunday October 25, 2015 at a Special Thanksgiving Service held by the State Government in Port Harcourt following the Rivers State Governorship Tribunal Judgment delivered at Abuja ,declared," until Supreme Court decides I am still governor of Rivers State".

He admonished people of Rivers State not to be provoked, stressing that," no amount of intimidation or blackmail will make me to join those that will never help Rivers State".

While vowing that he will not be distracted by the judgment, Governor Wike promised to "do all the roads they refused to do", even as he opined that, "if what the enemies had planned had happened, we won't have been standing here to give thanks to God".

Governor Nyesom Wike had come under intense criticism by the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State over tens of billions his administration has allegedly borrowed in just four months in office.
