A bizarre incident occurred recently at 62 Emebiren street off Okumagba avenue in the heart of Warri, Delta State when a middle aged woman Identified simply as Mrs. Omaviare Owin was caught inside the apartment of one Mrs. Chioma Jude for attempted burglary.
The owner of the apartment who narrated her experience in an exclusive chat with Fresh Angle, said the suspect, Mrs. Omaviare Owin forced her way into her home after she went to her business place. According to the victim, she received a distress call from neighbours that somebody broke into her house, stayed inside and ransacked her box containing wrappers, jewelries and money. She immediately called her husband, Mr. Jude who heed the distress call from his wife and ran home. On reaching his house, her husband couldn’t gain access into his house, he had to break the door, only for him to see a lady in his room. He immediately raised alarm for help.
Our Correspondent who was at the scene of the incident few minutes later, reports that the matter was reported to the “B” division of Nigerian Police in Warri and two female officers were immediately detailed to arrest the suspect, even as further investigation has since commenced.
