Immediate past Transition Committee Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Augustine Uroye, who is currently Chairman of the Road Committee of Atori Layout, Tankers Park Road, Ekpan in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State has commended Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa “for responding quickly to the suffering and pain of the over ten thousand people leaving within and outside the layout by speedily constructing the one-kilometer concrete road with concrete drainage at both sides of the road within eighty days”, adding that the governor’s prompt intervention is a surprise to people in the area, “because for the past five years, we have been suffering the very bad state of the road and all hope was lost, considering the poor state of the economy”.
He added, “we are strongly behind him as he takes Delta State to greater heights, because his wonderful intervention has shown that he is very committed to the development of Delta State and we have confidence in him”.
According to Dr. Uroye, people of Atori Layout, Tankers Park Road, Ekpan equally appreciate the governor “for appointing very capable Commissioners working with him, because our complains was made to the Honorable Commissioner of Transport, Mr. Vincent Uduaghan and the Honorable Commissioner of Works, Chief James Augouye”.
He also commended the firm handling the job, Obakpo Construction Limited for performing “above expectation, especially against the backdrop of the raining season”.
