The Special Assistant to the Governor Okowa on Non –Indigenes, Nze Francis Onuora says Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s victory at Appeal Court is the handiwork of God.
Nze Onuora stated this in a chat with newsmen in Warri. He said, “it is now clear that the governor really won the governorship election and therefore charged the governor to keep faith in God, adding that for what has happened so far, it is clear that the governor had the mandate of Deltans and therefore will deliver the dividends of democracy to the people”.
According to him, “when the tribunal sitting in Asaba was appealed by the opponent political party candidates, I was apprehensive, but I knew that God will always vindicate him”. He added,” I was apprehensive though, I knew that God will always vindicate him because he had the mandate of the people.”
While congratulating the governor for the victory in the appeal court, he used the medium to appeal to the litigants to sheath their swords and join hands with the governor to develop the State, “because their action distracts the governor for the development of the State”.
The S. A to the governor said, the governor meant well for Deltans and therefore sued for the cooperation of all to enable him deliver his SMART agenda to move the state forward and by extension the country at large.
Nze Francis Onuora advised Deltans to celebrate the yultide with the sense of dignity and do not get involved in any action that can cause a breach of the peace and order in the State.
