An unidentified dark in complexion male of about 30 years old who was knocked down by a hit and run vehicle along the NPA Expressway by Viv Engineering Company, Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State, in the early hours of Saturday, January 17, have been confirmed dead.
His death was confirmed yesterday January 19, at Central Hospital Warri after two days in coma.
The deceased whose identity could not be ascertained because he was not having any form of identity, mobile phone or wallet when the accident occurred, was rushed to the hospital by a woman (name with-held).
The D.P.O of Effurun Divisional Police Headquarters, CSP Chris Sorgbara, while confirming the death of the unidentified man, urged members of the public who know the deceased, to come forward for identification and collection.
