NDDC Begins Distribution of Relief Materials to Flood-Affected Communities in Imo State


Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, today, Tuesday December 13, flagged-off the distribution of food and non-food items to flood-affected communities at the NDDC Imo State Office, Port Harcourt Road, Owerri in Imo State.

The food items being distributed are 1,800 bags (25kg) of rice, 900 cartons of noodles, 900 bags (25kg) of beans, 900 bags (25kg) of garri, salt (270), milk (90 cartons), milo (90 cartons), sugar (270), vegetable oil (900 bottles of 3 litres), seasoning cubes (135 cartons0 tinned tomatoes (900 tins) and bottled water (900 cartons).

The non-food items are nylon mats (900), treated mosquito nets (900), bathing soap (900), mattresses/pillows (450), blankets (450) and rubber slippers (900).
