90 - Year old Pa Akpata confirmed as Olare - Aja of Ureju by Olu of Warri, relocates to community

90 - year old Pa Gabriel Ebisanine Akpata, purportedly confirmed by the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III on December 16  as the new Olare - Aja ( Oldest Man) of Ureju Community in Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, has relocated to Ureju Community.                  

       Fresh Angle International understands that Pa Gabriel Ebisanine Akpata, who relocated to Ureju on Saturday December 31, was allegedly mandated by the Warri Monarch, to relocate to Ureju Community latest January 31, 2023, in - line with the recent dictates of the Warri Monarchy that all oldest men ( Olare - Aja)  must be resident in their communities.                    

The Trust Chairman of Ureju Community, Mr. Eniyan Tonwe, who spoke to this newspaper in Warri, Sunday January 1, stated that Pa Gabriel Akpata's arrival in Ureju yesterday, elicited much excitement among indigenes of the oil - rich  Benin River Community, with many going home to pledge their allegiance in celebration.

Eniyan Tonwe, whose leadership of the community hasn't gone without resistance from pockets of Ureju indigenes, averred that prominent elders of Ureju, gave his Trust Executive, a four - year mandate effective January 6, 2022, to administer Ureju and same authority was allegedly confirmed by Pa Akpata in Warri Community radio yesterday during an interview.
