Delivery of Ajudiabo Town Hall project, will determine our collective political actions – Ajudaibo indigenes tell Okowa

Indigenes of Ajudiabo Community, Ugborodo in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, have expressed displeasure over their perceived failed promise by Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa to complete the construction of Ajudiabo Town Hall, telling the governor: “The delivery of the Ajudaibo Community Town Hall Project, which is very dear to our hearts, will to a very large extent determine the course of our collective political actions in the nearest future”.

Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report that the growing irritation by the Ajudiabo indigenes, was contained in a letter addressed to Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa through Office of the Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area.

In the letter dated December 19, 2022 and signed by the Olare-Aja (Oldest man) and Secretary, Ajudaibo Community, Pa. Robinson A.U Edema and Mr. Abraham Enegho, respectively, Ajudiabo indigenes told Governor Okowa: “We are finding it very difficult to take you by your words, because of your promise to deliver the project on the day of your commissioning of the Ogidigben road project”.

They posited: “Ajudaibo Community passionately put forward this letter to serve as both appeal and reminder for you to do the needful as early as possible before the 2023 elections to direct and galvanize the instrumentality of DESOPADEC to urgently mobilize contractor to site such that the Ajudaibo Town Hall Project can be completed for use.

“Your Excellency, it would interest you to know that this project has been abandoned by the contractor for the past eight years and we believe your office can unravel the mysteries of the unprofessional setback associated with the execution of the project hence this clarion call for your intervention.

“It should be abundantly made clear here that the people of Ajudaibo Community are finding it very difficult to take you by your words, because of your promise to deliver the project on the day of your commissioning of the Ogidigben road project as the issue of the Ajudaibo Town Hall Project was part of the issues the people of Ogidigben presented to you.

“Surprisingly, since you left the Ogidigben road project commissioning ground, nothing has been heard from you hence this course of reminder as your tenure is fast winding up.

“Your Excellency, we pray that you achieve your heart desires in your political endeavours as it's a well known fact that our people have been very supportive of PDP 100 percent since 1999.

“We therefore urge and plead with you to remain faithful to your words and promises as we look forward to seeing your positive feedback”.
