The Anti-Robbery Patrol Team of Obiaruku Division of Delta State Police Command who were on search duty along the Obiaruku Amai Road on Friday February 19 arrested one Effiong Clement, who purportedly confessed to be a member of robbery gang operating in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to a Police Statement made available to Fresh Angle International, the Police patrol team intercepted two suspected hoodlums on an unregistered Red Lifan Motorcycle.
The Statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Celestina Kalu, explained that on sighting the patrol team, the suspects attempted to escape, but they were chased by the patrol men who arrested the said Effiong Clement believed to be 27 years of age, while the rider of the motorcycle reportedly escaped.
