The Dr. Michael Tidi led administration of Warri South Local Government Council in Delta State, has concluded plans to scale up the socio - economic development of Warri with the empowerment of 250 small scale entrepreneurs.
Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, in a statement released Friday January 27, noted that the 250 beneficiaries, cutting across intending Pont - Of - Sale, POS operators and petty traders, will be given financial and technical support to enable them grow their businesses and ultimately become employers of labour, in what has been christened " Warri South Local Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme 2023."
According to Dr. Tidi, the presentation of start - packs cum empowerment programme, will hold 9:00 am Tuesday January 31 at the Warri South Council Main Secretariat in Warri, Delta State.
He reiterated his administration's resolve to reposition Warri South Local Government Area and make it an investment destination for genuine local and foreign investors.
