Delta South: Ijaw, Igbo, Hausa monarchs throw weight behind Timinimi for Senate


 

The Senatorial ambition of Hon. George Timinimi, candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is gaining momentum as another Ijaw traditional ruler, the Pere of Seimbiri Kingdom, HRM, Charles Ayemi Botu, has prayed for his success at the February 25th general elections.
 
Timinimi received the royal blessings on Monday, when he paid a courtesy visit to the monach at his palace.
 
It was part of Timinimi's campaign tour of the Delta South senatorial district, ahead of the coming National Assebly elections.
 
The Ijaw monarch highlighted the many attributes and achievements of Timinimi being a dogged fighter, and stands out amongst the rest and the best candidate for the job.
 
He offered prayers for Timinimi and pledged the total support of his Kingdom for Timinimi's candidacy.
 
The Senatorial hopeful also paid visit to  Alhaji Mohammed Bello, Sarkin Hausa of Warri and Alhaji Zuberu Tajudeen, ETSU NUPE  of Warri, where he unveiled his plans to both monarchs.
 
The Hausa monarchs prayed for Timinimi and assured him of their supports to succeed in his ambition. 
 
Timinimi promised to carry them along and give prompt attention to issues affecting them whenever he is called upon.
 
 
Also, on Monday, the APGA's Senatorial candidate for Delta South district, visited Eze Peter Chukwu, Eze- Ndigbo at his Edjeba palace and also received royal blessings and full supports.
 
 
 
Timinimi also took his campaign tour to   Ndi-Igbo Spare parts markets and Igbo traders in Warri and it's environs and was assured of their total supports and votes at the elections.
 
Timinimi reeled out his plans and urged them to vote for Great Ogboru, APGA governorship candidate, and all candidates of APGA come February 25th and March 11th.
 
It was all fun as the traders turned out in their numbers, happy to have a candidate, sell their home party, APGA, to them as it was originally formed by the late Ikemba Odumegwu Ojukwu.
 
The Igbo traders were elated to see that the party has come to stay in Delta State, and gradually, Nationwide, which gives them a sense of belonging as one Nigeria.
