Warri South Constituency I Decides: APC candidate, Merogun concludes Ward-to-Ward Campaign

Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC for Warri South Constituency 1 in Delta State House of Assembly, Dr. Michael Eyituoyo Merogun, has concluded his ward-to-ward and community-to-community campaign in Warri, with the slogan: "Let's Light Up Warri”.

Our Principal Correspondent, reports that Dr. Merogun, who was received by a large crowd of the people at Ugbuwangue Community, expressed delight for the support granted him by ‘his people’, assuring them of attracting meaningful projects to the community if elected come March 11.

The APC House of Assembly hopeful, explained that his campaign was focused on four-point agenda, vis-à-vis; Security, Empowerment, Quality Education and Development.

While calling for more support to enable him emerge victorious in the fast-approaching poll, Dr. Merogun, appealed to eligible voters in Warri South Constituency I, to vote all APC candidates, from Presidential to Governorship, Senate and House of Representatives to State House of Assembly.

He declared that, it is only APC that can make the difference and claimed that the PDP candidate and incumbent member representing Warri South Constituency I in the State legislature, Hon. Augustine Uroye, is not from Warri South and do not resident in the local government area.

The APC candidate appreciated the large turn-out of people in Ugbuwangue, saying with their solidarity, he's sure of winning at the poll.

Fresh Angle International can report Duris Orugboh, APC Chieftain in Agbarha-Warri, Chief Francis Ugbejevun, Ann Kalusi and other prominent grassroots leaders, assured Dr. Merogun of delivering their areas to him and other APC candidates come February 25 and March 11.

In his remarks, a former member of the House of Representatives, who recently defeated from PDP to APC, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, described Dr. Merogun as a young man with courage and capacity, deserving to be voted for, saying the person on the seat, doesn't have anything to show.

He enjoined eligible voters to vote APC candidates, accusing Gov. Okowa of betraying Southern Nigeria for the 2023 Presidential ticket, because of his Vice-Presidential ambition.

Whilst saying that Governor Okowa, “is ashamed to go out and campaign, because he doesn't have any achievement to show”, Hon. Reyenieju, accused the Delta State Governor of plunging Warri into darkness.

Three former lawmakers in Warri South Legislative Arm; Hon. Kingsley Tenumah, Hon. Austin Tete and Hon. Romeo Ogedegbe, charged eligible voters in Ugbuwangue, to make the community the first place for Dr. Merogun to win, assuring the APC House of Assembly candidate of block votes in Ekurede-Ugbori Ward.
