Deputy Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly and member representing Ndokwa East in the State Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi says they have decided to employ dialogue and fruitful engagement so as to achieve stable electricity in Ndokwa Nation through the step down of an Independent Power Plant, IPP in Ndokwa land.
The lawmaker who made the declaration yesterday at Kwale during the reunion of his Alma Mata, Fundamental Old Students Association, FOSA, noted that violence and other forms of uncivil means can only delay the realization of the aspiration.
Hon. Osanebi while noting that through effective dialogue, four communities in Ndokwa land now enjoy steady power supply, enjoined his constituents to remain peaceful.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that the Deputy Speaker used the occasion to announce the award of scholarships to 40 students of his Alma Mata, with a promise that the best 10 from the 40 awardees will enjoy the scholarship up to tertiary institution.
