A prominent leader  in the All Progressives Congress in Delta South Senatorial District and Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Ayirimi Emami, has urged Ologbotsere descendants worldwide and other Itsekiris, to vote the All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the forthcoming Saturday February 25 polls, by thumb - printing the APC's symbolic broom, asking them not to listen to contrary directive.

Our Correspondents, report that Chief Emami gave the charge at the Ologbotsere hall in his palatial home at Egbokodo in Warri, Delta State, Sunday February 19, during the traditional special prayers held by Ologbotsere descendants for the success of the February 25 and March 11 polls.

Chief Emami, who stated that  Senator Tinubu performed creditably as Lagos State Governor, asserted: " My message is very clear, what we are doing here, is our traditional way of talking to our ancestors, through which we speak to God. All sons and daughters of Itsekiri Nation, should come out enmasse and vote for Tinubu. He is the only person who can feel our pains. Itsekiris, should also vote for Senator Ovie Omo - Agege, APC Governorship candidate for Delta State. Tinubu's positive message to Deltans, will be faster with Omo - Agege as our governor. As Ologbotsere, Chief Messenger of the people, I have spoken."

A member of the Ologbotere descendants and  member of Tinubu Shettima Independent Campaign Council, Sir  Amorighoye Sunny Mene, who also addressed newsmen on the sidelines of the special traditional prayers,  urged lItsekiris  across the country, to vote for APC Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Sir Amorighoye, said: ‘’The APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu is one of us; he is tested and proven to be a man of vision and capacity. "We know him as a unifier.  When he was  governor of Lagos state; he had different nationalities in his cabinet. If given the opportunity  as President, he  will take Nigeria to the next level.

‘’Bola Tinubu is a man, who has built consensus across the country, and today the country is unanimous on the need to have a man who can strengthen the bond of unity across the country, which is why we are using this day of prayers to call on Nigerians, irrespective of religion to pray for the success of the general elections and all APC candidates running for different positions.

"We know when he becomes President, all the challenges Nigerians are going through, will be  thing of the past, because he was an advocate  for democracy, when democracy was threatened.  In Nigeria today, in the face of scarcity of cash, Bola Tinubu is championing the cause of the common man by asking that the right thing be done to alleviate the suffering of the common man."

The Coordinator of APC Campaign for Delta South Senatorial District,  Prince Yemi Emiko, on his part, expressed  excitement with  the prayer session organized by the Ologbotsere descendants.

Prince Emiko, also called on Nigerians to vote the APC presidential candidate.

He averred: " He (Tinubu) is  a man who understands governance. He  is tested and we know he will do better. He is not only a team player, but a team builder. Tinubu looks at values, not aesthetics. I advise Nigerians to vote wisely and choose Bola Tinubu."
