A new Vice Chairman for Uvwie Local Government Council, Chief Napoleon Akpomiemie Iffie was on Monday February 29 sworn-in at the Uvwie Council Secretariat by Substantive Chairman of the Local Government Area, Mrs. Stella Otitio Dabonor.
Our Correspondent reports that the swearing-in of Chief Napoleon Iffie which held at the Council Chairman’s office was done after a prayer session.
The swearing-in of the new Vice Chairman for Uvwie Local Government Area became imperative following the elevation of the former Vice to the Ex- Uvwie Council Boss, Mrs. Stella Dabonor to the position of Substantive Chairman as a result of the vacancy created by the removal of Hon. Baro Minabonware.
Fresh Angle International gathered that the Uvwie Council Head of Personnel Management, HPM and other key officials of the council witnessed the ceremony.
It would be recalled that Hon. Glory Otuedon from Ugbolokposo Ward recently emerged the new Leader of Uvwie Legislative Arm and there were also changes in other vital House Leadership positions.
