Feelers reaching Fresh Angle International reveal that the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli has sacked the Austin Oniyesan purported executive of Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC controversially and almost unilaterally installed by the member representing Warri North Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Michael Diden A.K.A Ejele.
The Monarch gave the booting this evening at his Palace in Warri, Delta State during a meeting with Itsekiri community leaders.
The Olu insisted that the nomination of community representatives in the incoming IRDC leadership should be midwife by the Olare-Aja (community heads) and stressed that his position on fresh representations stand.
He subsequently made provisions for the community heads to do the needful traditionally with a view to setting the tone for genuine representation and development of their communities.
Fresh Angle International scooped that correspondences have already been sent to Chevron and the various communities that make up the GMoU Communities for strict compliance, even as the Monarch has scheduled a meeting with key stakeholders on the issue for Monday March 7.
