Why Deltans would not regret the choice of Oborevwori - INYC

The Sapele Local Government Chapter of Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC, says the antecedents of Rt. Hon. Sherriff Francis Oborevwori as core grassroots politician, who understands happenings in the nooks and crannies of Delta State, with the intent to rebuild institutions and the needed infrastructures, that would boost the economy of the state, are among reasons why Deltans would not regret voting Rt. Hon. Oborevwori as the next governor of Delta State, come Saturday March 18.

Chairman of the Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC, Sapele Chapter, Comrade Tseti Bobi and the Director of Socials, Comrade Utieyin Maku, reportedly made the assertion yesterday, Wednesday March 15 at Otonloye Hall in Sapele, during a well-attended meeting of Itsekiri community in Sapele.

Whilst reaffirming their earlier endorsement of the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Rt. Hon. Sherriff Oborevwori, the Sapele branch of INYC, enjoined Deltans to come out emmasse and vote for him.

INYC averred: “It is indeed the turn of Delta Central (Okpe-Sapele-Uvwie Constituency) to produce the Governor of Delta State, for the sake of equity and mutual respect for one another, because Delta is a multi-ethnic state.

“Deltans should stick to those they know and can relate with at the base, rather than be deceived with sweet talks from unscrupulous candidates.”

Another prominent figure who spoke during the meeting, Comrade Jolomi Ikpere, stressed the need for Itsekiris in Sapele and other Deltans, to be mindful of the choice they will make on Saturday, saying “Rt. Hon. Oborevwori, has proven to be the man on the side of equity, fairness, hard-work, who should be supported with massive votes as he journeys to Government House, in order to deliver optimally for all Deltans and make the state the envy of the country.”
