Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael E. Tidi, says Deltans elected a stabilizer in the person of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor - Elect.
Dr. Tidi, noted that the statewide spread of the votes polled by the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship candidate and the margin of his victory, attest to Rt. Hon. Oborevwori's general acceptance.
The Warri South Local Government Council Chief Executive, who made the assertion in a statement released yesterday evening, while reacting to the victory of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori as Governor - Elect of Delta state, posited that the manner in which the incoming governor has been piloting the affairs of Delta State House of Assembly, despite the complexities associated with leading lawmakers across the different ethnic divides in the state, speaks to Rt. Hon. Oborevwori's exceptional human management and administrative acumen.
Whilst expressing optimism that the governor - elect would bring his experience to bear in the administration of Delta state when sworn - in May 29 as Governor, Dr. Tidi, opined that a more robust executive and legislative relationship, would be experience in the state with Rt. Hon. Oborevwori as governor " because of his legislative background and strong interface amongst critical stakeholders in the state."
