NDDC Commissions Three (3) Road Projects In Bayelsa State, Secures Partnership From The State Government


Commissioning the failed and unmotorable road sections of New GRA Extension, Phase II Otiotio, Yenegoa, Dr. Ogbuku expressed satisfaction over the standard of road construction executed by NDDC in the area. He said; "people may not understand how the road came about, it's not Bayelsa State Government or Ministry of Works but it is NDDC. NDDC is not a failure.

This project has actually changed the environment and added more value to it. The road is more beautiful and accessible now. We assure you that NDDC will do more to bring development to the Niger Delta Region."

Dr. Ogbuku also led the NDDC Management Team to commission a 1.2Km Popo Jonah/16 Brigade internal road network constructed by NDDC at 16 Brigade Nigeria Army Opolo Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Speaking at the commissioning of the 1.3Km road construction of failed and unmotorable sections of Igbogene Community in Yenagoa, HRM Prof. Augustine A. Ikein, the Paramount Ruler of Igbogene gave accolades to NDDC for giving them quality road in a swampy area. He further solicited for educational support and employment of the youths of Igbogene in NDDC.
