Key members of Delta APC will resign in coming days – Igbakpa tweets
Hon. Benson Igbakpa

The Member Representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Benson Igbakpa, has taunted members of the opposition All Progressives Congress in Delta State, saying: “In the next few days, weeks and coming months, we will witness the loss of key members (of APC) as most will resign or be forced out by the highhandedness of the leadership of the party.”

Hon. Igbakpa, who was elected on the platform of PDP in the 2019 general elections and failed in his bid to return to the House of Representatives, after picking the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP ticket to contest the February 25, 2023 polls, also posited in his tweets this morning, Friday April 14, that the APC in Delta State, will witness, “the surprise turnaround of one of their biggest backers.”

The federal lawmaker, who was defeated by the PDP flagbearer in the recent Presidential/National Assembly elections, Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, further stated in his series of tweets: “Delta APC is a laughing stock at the moment. They wished to win the gubernatorial elections with "Snatch and Grab" tactics. Their failed attempt to seize power by any means has now led to a serious internal party crisis and this is going to be a long-lasting political drift.

“Their ‘snatch it by any means’ tactic and the consequent attempt has made it harder for the party to win future elections or administer its internal party affairs effectively. Party members and supporters become polarized, dysfunctional and chaotic. The plan no work.”
