Be Role Model To Your Peers, Rotarian Ogie charges Interactors

The President of Rotary Club of Osubi, Rotarian Nosa Ogie, has charged members of The Interact Club of Delta State University, DELSU, Secondary School, Abraka, on the need to be good role model to their fellow students.

Our Senior Roving Correspondent, reports that Rotarian Ogie, gave the charge today, Wednesday April 26, when he and members of his Board of Rotary Club of Osubi, under District 9141 of Rotary International, presented Charter Certificate to Interact Club of DELSU Secondary School in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.

Rotarian Ogie in his remarks, said the occasion was an opportunity for the students to be part of an organization that has over 1.4 million members worldwide.

He added that The Interact Club, will not only bring out talents of the students, but will serve as training platform for them to become future leaders.

Rotarian Ogie, stressed the need for the students to stay away from " obscure environment" and be good ambassadors of the Club at all times.

Principal of DELSU Secondary School, Dame Helen Kori-Siakpere, expressed appreciation to Rotary Club of Osubi for presenting the Charter Certificate to the school and commended Rotarian Oghenefejiro Kori- Siakpere, for reviving the Club in the school.

She also urged other Nigerians to emulate Rotary Club, in terms of choosing leaders.

The newly Inducted Interactors, represented by Interactor Oghenetejiri Kori- Siakpere, Vice President of The Interact Club of DELSU Secondary School, thanked Rotary Club of Osubi, for choosing the school and subsequently presenting Charter Certificate to them, promising to bring honour to Rotary Club International.
