The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL and a Norwegian company, Golar LNG (GLNG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU to build a Floating Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) plant in an unspecified location in Nigeria.
Fresh Angle International, can report that the MoU was signed yesterday by the Group CEO of NNPCL, Mele Kyari and CEO of Golar LNG, Mr. Karl Fredrik Staubo.
Mele Kyari and Karl Staubo, inked the agreement on behalf of their respective companies, during a brief ceremony held at the NNPC Towers in Abuja.
According to NNPCL, Golar LNG, is one of the world's largest independent owners and operators of marine - based LNG midstream infrastructure that is active in liquefaction, transportation and regasification of natural gas.
