Nigerians using GOtv, would be able to watch all 380 English Premier League, EPL, matches of the 2023-2024 season, Multichoice has announced in a message sent to subscribers early this morning, Tuesday July 18.
According to the message by the South-African Company, users of GOtv in Nigeria, would need to upgrade to “the all-new Gotv Supa + package launching August 1”, with, “only N10,500 and unlock a world of entertainment with over 90 channels, including access to 380 premier league matches, the best of movies with universal TV, Mnet Movies 4 & more.”
Prior to the upcoming EPL season, GOtv subscribers in the country, were able to watch not more than 20 percent of live matches in the GOtv super package.
The English Premier League 2023-24 season will start on Saturday, August 12, 2023, with the season returning to its normal schedule.
The final round of matches in the EPL 2023-24 season, will be played on Sunday, May 19, 2024. All 10 matches on the final matchday, will kick off at the same time, as is customary.
In what will be a major relief for players, the 2023-24 season, also provides for a return of the mid-season player break, which will take place between January 13 to 20.
The Premier League, had reaffirmed that no two rounds of fixtures, will take place within 48 hours of each other around Christmas and New Year next year.
Overall, the 2023-24 season, which begins 76 days after the end of the 2022-23 season, will consist of 34 weekends, three-midweek rounds and a Bank Holiday match round.
