The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) has reassured Federal Road Safety Corps, of continuous support towards achieving it's goals in Kogi State.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that the Kogi State Commandant of NSCDC Ahmad Ahmad Gandi disclosed this on Wednesday in Lokoja when he played host to the newly deployed Sector Commander of FRSC Samuel Oyedeji in his office
Gandi while welcoming the newly deployed Sector Commander and his entourage assured the Sector Commander of his readiness to support him when ever the need arises.
Speaking further, the NSCDC Commandant noted that Kogi State is a mini Country, stressing that, the State is bordered by nine other States thus making the Security of lives and property a bit challenging.
"This challenges can be overcome with a formidable and purposeful synergy existing between sister agencies and other relevant stake holders" he stated.
Speaking earlier, the newly deployed Sector Commander, Samuel Oyedeji of FRSC, appreciated the State Commandant of NSCDC Ahmad Ahmad Gandi for the warm reception given to him and his entourage, just as he went down memory lane, shearing his experiences with NSCDC by way of synergy in the past.
According to him, he was informed by his predecessor of the wonderful working relationship that existed between NSCDC and FRSC stressing that, their is need for the synergy to continue in a bid to achieve a successful operations in line with the road safety Norms.
