It was jubilation galore Thursday August 17, at the headquarters of Kogi State Police Command in Lokoja as 168 Inspectors, recently promoted were decorated with their new rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police II, by the State Police Commissioner, Mr. Bethrand Onuoha.
The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Ovye Aya, in a statement in Lokoja, confirmed the decoration of the new officers.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, quoted Aya, to have said that Onuoha, also decorated 153 Assistant Superintendent of Police, newly promoted with their new substantive rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police I.
“The Officers were decorated with their new rank, amidst cheers from families, friends and well-wishers”, Aya, noted.
