The people of Enjema Community in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, have endorsed the Governorship Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, ahead of the November 11 Governorship election in the state.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that they gave the endorsement Thursday August 17, when the Director-General, Kogi State Special Task Force on Illegal smuggling of fire arms and other related crime, Elder Friday Sani Makama, visited the community for an on-the-spot assessment of security situation in the area, particularly as it affects alleged invasion of their community land, leading to the death of an identified young man.
Indigenes of the community, were reportedly elated by the visit, which came through the directive of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
According to them, Makama’s visit, “clearly demonstrated the love the present administration has for the people of Enjema Community.”
“The present administration has performed well, hence the need to support the APC Governorship candidate, to continue the good work of Governor Yahaya Bello”, they added.
Addressing the crowd, Elder Makama, described Governor Bello as a man, who has shown uncommon love for Igala Nation and deserves the support of Igala race.
The former State Legislator, who described his visit as timely, averred that Governor Yahaya Bello, is a true Kogite, who has respected all segment of Kogi State, particularly the Igala people.
