Delta: Appointment, swearing-in of Agbateyiniro, Omatsuli epitomize fresh energy- Warri South Council

The Management and Staff of Warri South Local Government Council, say the appointment and swearing-in of Comrade Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro and Hon. Griftson Timeyin Omatsuli as Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development and Special Adviser to the Governor on Niger Delta, respectively, epitomizes fresh energy, worthy of celebration.                                           

The position of the Council, was contained in a statement released Wednesday August 23, by the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi.

The Council Boss, in the statement, averred in parts: “Their appointment and the subsequent portfolios assigned to them by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta state, epitomizes fresh energy, worthy of celebration.

“We are upbeat that Comrade Weyinmi Agbateyiniro's experience as President of Itsekiri National Youths Council, which afforded him the opportunity of networking with youth leaders across Delta state and beyond, as well as other critical stakeholders, would propel youth development in the state.             

“We are  enthralled that the  extensive experience of Hon. Griftson Omatsuli as former Principal Officer of Warri South Council Legislative Arm, his interface with the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, WRPC on behalf of Itsekiri Nation and immediate past Commissioner, who represented Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality in the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, will make his job as Special Adviser to Governor Oborevwori on Niger Delta, seamless.                               

“Our sincere thanks, goes to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori for recognizing two of our young prospects for these strategic positions.”
