Sapele LG Boss, Inoaghan, commissions water project executed by Itsekiri Day 2023 Committee

Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area in Delta State, Hon. Eugene Inoaghan, on Sunday October 1, commissioned a portable water project executed by Itsekiri Day 2023 Organizing Committee at Oguanja in the ancient town of Sapele.

Fresh Angle International understands that the member representing Sapele Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Perkins Umukoro, former Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area and ex-Chairman of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon. Michael Diden, two other former Chairmen of Warri North Local Government Area, Chief Otimeyin Adams and Chief Solomon Arenyeka, Delta State PDP Chairman, Chief (Barr.) Kingsley Esiso as well as the member representing Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality in the Board of DESOPADEC, Hon. Sunny Ofe, were among prominent personalities that attended the commissioning ceremony.

This Newspaper can report that Yoruba Road Oguanja Girls, had defeated Oguanja Ugbege Girls, 2:0 in a novelty football match played on the eve of the event, just as there was also a game between Itsekiri boys that reside in Benin River and their counterparts resident in Sapele.

Secretary of Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC, Hon. Appearance Afejuku, was the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee of Itsekiri Day 2023.
