The Kogi State Government, has revealed that a stepmother, who allegedly ordered that her 11-year-old stepson, one Friday Oshodi, be buried alive, “for stealing one thousand naira”, is currently at large.
Fresh Angle International, understands that it took vigilant neighbours, who heard the yelling of Friday Oshodi to rescue him. Friday’s entire body, except his head, was already under the earth.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Fatima Kabir Buba, who made the disclosure, today, Thursday October 12, during an interview with journalists in Lokoja, assured that the woman will be arrested and made to face the full weight of the law.
Friday Oshodi
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that one Goodness Oshodi, allegedly buried his younger brother, Friday Oshodi alive on the orders of the unnamed woman (his mother) at Silo Community, Apamisede in Zango Daji, Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
While stressing that the Kogi State Government, will prosecute all the suspects involved in the inhuman act, Haija Buba, explained that Ministry was making necessary arrangements to put the victim (Friday Oshodi) in an orphanage.
