The Obi of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom, HRM Obi (Dr) Ifechukwude Aninshi Okonjo II today visited the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme at his office in Government House, Asaba.
The meeting which lasted several hours was an opportunity for the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku along with his Palace Secretary and other Ogwashi-Uku Chiefs to interact with the Deputy Governor to discuss pressing issues.
The Obi of Ogwashi-Uku used the opportunity to formally congratulate the Deputy Governor on his new office and also to brief him on activities in the Kingdom.
His Majesty solicited the support of the government in various ways to move the Kingdom forward and resolve pressing issues such as development, unemployment, security and other traditional related matters.

His Excellency CHIEF (SIR) John Monday Onyeme assured the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku of his full support and the support of the Delta State Government in the various highlighted areas.
