Omire, Mofe Nobi make list as Senator Onovwakpo appoints eleven LGA Liaison Officers

The lawmaker representing Delta South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Joel Onovwakpo Thomas, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has appointed eleven Liaison Officers in the eight Local Government Areas of the District, with names such as Engr. Mofe Nobi, Odume Jeffrey Omire and Mr. Jerry Omumu, among the appointees.

Fresh Angle International can report that this much was announced by the Senator on his ‘X’ handle this afternoon, Wednesday October 25.

According to Senator Onovwakpo Thomas, the Liaison Officers, “were carefully selected based on their track records and grassroot involvements, interacting directly with the people.”

Whilst noting that the eleven Liaison Officers, will work in synergy and report to the Delta South Senatorial Management Committee, DSSMC, Senator Onovwakpo Thomas, a former Chairman of Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, DBIR, stated: “This role comes with weighty responsibilities and it requires them to exercise their leadership qualities, their ability to galvanize and mobilize human and capital resources for the good of the constituents.

“They are also to identify and document all Federal Government projects, coordinate project supervision where required and report promptly through the appropriate channels.”

The Liaison Officers, whose appointments are with immediate effect, are as follows:

2) Odume Jeffrey Omire -- Warri North LGA (Itsekiri)

3) Hon. Agbanifo Yerin Egbede --- Warri North LGA (Ijaw)

5) Owan Peter Kimiebi --- Burutu LGA (Ijaw)
