Barely four days to the Governorship election in Kogi State, joint Security operatives, have reportedly killed three suspected political thugs.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that the unnamed thugs, were smashed in Anyigba, Eastern Senatorial District of the State.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Kogi State, SP William Ovye Aya, who made the disclosure in a statement, today, Tuesday November 7, said the security operatives, also recovered two AK47 rifles from the suspected thugs.
While noting that the operation was carried out by Officers of the Nigeria Police, Department of State Security, DSS and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC on a building where political thugs were being housed by Political Parties, Aya added that, two members of the security team, sustained gunshot injuries and seven suspects were arrested.
