Top Nigerian artistes such as 2Baba (formerly known as 2Face) D'Banj, Patoranking, Teni and Delta-born music ambassadors; Victor AD, Oritsefemi, Daddy Showkey and Harrysong, will perform during the 2023 edition of Oboghoro annual festival.
Fresh Angle International, understands that Mayorkun, African China, Destalker and Ushbebe, will also entertain at carnival/ convert taking place Christmas eve at the fast - developing Benin River Island.
The Oboghoro Festival 2023, which is the seventh edition of the yearly event, is billed to commence Friday December 22 and run through Sunday December 24 ( overnight) at Oboghoro in Warri North Local Government Area, Delta state.
The socio - cultural cum entertainment showpiece, being powered by the good people of Oboghoro is themed :" Embracing our traditional culture and hospitality."
Rundown of the schedule of activities for the festival, showed that it will start with Praise and Worship ( Praise Day) by 10:00 am Friday December 22 and will be followed with Traditional and Cultural Dances on Saturday December 23 by 10:00 am.
A statement by the organizers, noted that there would be annual general meeting 10:00 am Friday December 24, before the carnival/ concert, kicking off 7:00pm same day, till mother calls.
The blockbuster carnival/ concert, will also feature music dance, comedy, award presentation, gift connect and red carpet.
