Warri Kingdom: Ologbotsere Descendants reaffirm commitment to pursue pending cases in court

Ologbotsere Descendants, have reaffirmed their commitment to pursue to a logical conclusion, all pending court cases involving prominent members of the family as it relates to the succession controversy in Warri Kingdom.                            

 

Our Principal Correspondent, reports that the Spokesman of Ologbotsere Descendants of Warri Kingdom, Mr. Alex Eyengho, dropped the hint in a chat with newsmen Friday night, January 19, at the end of the first meeting Ologbotsere Descendants had for the year 2024.                           

The meeting, which held at the Ologbotsere mini hall, inside the palatial home of Chief Ayirimi Emami in Warri, Delta state, was attended by persons from the 12 families that make up Ologbotsere Descendants.

Whilst stating that Chief Ayirimi Emami is the only Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom known by Ologbotsere Descendants, Mr. Eyengho, mentioned Chief Ayirimi Emami Vs Ginuwa 1 Ruling House, Members of the Subsisting Olu Advisory Council, Emiko Royal Family of Warri Kingdom in suit no W/ 128/ 2021 and Members of Ologbotsere Eyinmisan Descendants, Warri Kingdom Vs His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, Chief Oma Eyewuoma, Hon. Attorney General & Commissioner for Justice, Delta state in suit no W/ 111/2023, as two of the cases in the Warri Kingdom succession controversy that Ologbotsere Descendants, would consistently mobilize to court whenever there is hearing.                               

 

Mr. Eyengho, noted that it was emphasized at the meeting on the necessity for Ologbotsere Descendants to sustain law and order as well as protect Warri Kingdom at all times, including during the forthcoming passage rite of Pa Samuel Odia Okorodudu.                       

 

The inaugural meeting of Ologbotsere Descendants, was followed with traditional prayers Saturday January 20 at same venue.         

 

The traditional prayers to the ancestors, done by Chief Ayirimi Emami, were for Ologbotsere Descendants and other members of the larger Warri Kingdom.
