Gov. Yahaya Bello has procured JAMB forms for 15,033 students in Kogi State public schools across the State.
The State Commissioner For Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones, who made the disclosure in press conference, said the procurement of the JAMB forms is part of the initiative of the free Education Policy of the present administration.
"Gov. Yahaya Bello has procured JAMB Forms for 15,033 Students of Public Schools Across the State".
" Recalled that we paid over N497 million WAEC fees for 15,033 students late last year".
"Payment of internal and external examination fees is an integral part of the free education policy of the government".
" The State Government has a bill to institutionalize this free exam fee policy is before the Kogi State House of Assembly", Hon. Jones disclosed.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that the Commissioner described the commitment of the present administration to repositioned the education sector as unprecedented in the State history, praised Gov Bello for building a solid future that would stand the test of time.
