Sustain your support for Governor Oborevwori to continually get democracy dividends, Tebite tasks UDU

The Executive Director, Project in Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission DESOPADEC, Hon Talib Tebite, has charged members of Ughelli Descendants Union, UDU to sustain their support for the administration of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sherriff Oborevwori, to enable them continually get the dividends of democracy. 

 

Our Senior Roving Correspondent, reports that Hon. Talib Tebite gave the charge Tuesday February 6 at his office in the DESOPADEC headquarters in Warri, Delta State, when he played host to a delegation of Ughelli Descendants Union, UDU. 

 

Responding in his remarks, Olorogun Tebite, expressed his appreciation to members of the group for the visit, saying: “I feel honoured and filled with so much joy for your visit. I stand with anything that brings development, I can’t  take myself away from such responsibilities and that is what His Excellency, Rt Hon. Sherriff Oborevwori stands for.”

He also expressed appreciation to God for making Governor Oborevwori win the case at the Supreme Court. “It is with your prayers and that of all Urhobo kingdoms and local governments the Governor is here today and he is the reason I am also here”, he stated.

 

He urged the people to always support the government and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, adding that their request will be looked into.

 

Earlier, the President-General of Ughelli Descendants Union, Chief Samuel Akpimegi, felicitated Chief Tebite on his appointment as the Executive Director of Project in DESOPDEC. 

 

In a written letter, Chief Akpimegi, appealed to the Management of DESOPADEC to provide security for Ughelli people as well as bus for UDU, to ease transportation.
