State-of-the-art school building constructed in Otor-Iyede Grammar School, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, was on Wednesday February 28, commissioned by Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sherriff Oborevwori.
Fresh Angle International can report that the ultra-modern structure, was built by Chief Kome Okpobor, the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, EDFA on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC in partnership with Delta State Government, with the aim of supporting the academic output of the existing Otor-Iyede Grammar School.
Addressing the gathering, the Delta State Commissioner for Primary Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu, who represented Governor Oborevwori, commended Chief Kome Okpobor’s meticulous planning and execution, of the school building project.

He stated that the project would bolster Governor Oborevwori’s administration drive to improve access to education and raise the bar of academic excellence in the State.
“The facility which comprises of 10 classrooms, advanced laboratory, offices for staff as well as a library, stands as a testament to Delta State's dedication to quality education.”
Dr. Ashibuogwu, commended Chief Kome for being a dependable partner in actualizing the vision of the State Government in Educational Development, one of the pillars of the administration’s MORE Agenda.
“This administration, will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that public schools have quality facilities that would inspire excellent output by students and teachers in the State.” He said
Chief Kome Okpobor, a driving force behind the project, spoke passionately about the transformative impact this facility was poised to have on the educational system in Delta State.
“The school project underscored the essence of inclusion in Governor Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, the building was designed to enhance access to education for children in the community.
It is my hope that all stakeholders in Otor Iyede Kingdom, will be committed to the sustainability, and maintenance of this school," he added.
Our Senior Roving Correspondent, reports that it was all excitement for parents, teachers, pupils and traditional chiefs in the community, who trooped out in their numbers to mark the project’s commissioning.
