The premises of Solace Investments, by Rubber Plantation along Cemetery road in Warri, Delta State is under the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,investigation, Fresh Angle checks reveal.

Our Senior Correspondent who visited the areaSaturday August 6, 2011, gathered from sources that the premises which wereunder lock and key as at press time was sealed by officials of the anti-graftagency over alleged swindling of its customers’ fund by the company’s ChiefExecutive Officer who is a Christian cleric.

Therespondents accused the cleric and his management staff of enriching themselvesto the detriment of their customers. Efforts to speak with some officials ofthe company working with a bank owned by the cleric along Effurun –Sapele roadsame day to get their views met a brick wall as no one could be reached afterseveral effort.

Thebank’s security man who managed to speak with our Senior Correspondent said he can’t confirm if any of thebusiness outfit owned by Solace is under investigation by the EFCC, just as hestressed that staff of the bank usually come to work daily.
