Abizarre incident occurred in the heart of Warri, Delta State Sunday August 7when a 32 year old man identified simply as Endurance was caught raping anunderage girl of 7 at Olodi Street off Eboh road.
FreshAnglegathered that the culprit, Mr. Endurance who is a neighbour to the raped victimwas confronted by parents of the underage girl on noticing some strangebehaviour from her. There was however a twist in the scenario when the culpritwho did not argue initially, later denied when taken to the ‘B’ Division ofNigeria Police at Avenue for interrogation and further investigation.
Thevictim (name withheld) told Fresh Angle that the suspect, Mr.Endurance had intercourse with her 3 times, one of which she claimed the saidMr. Endurance fingered her. It was reliably gathered that the parents of thegirl discovered that the young girl’s private part was full of blood and anothersubstance suspected to be spermatozoa. Sources say, the girl was taken to agovernment hospital for test by the police and the parents, result of whichproved that she has been defiled and an infection transmitted to her.
Shetold her parents that Mr. Endurance warned her not to tell anybody, stressingthat if she does he will kill her. Reliable sources say the victim only came toWarri barely two months ago.
Asat the time of filing this report, the suspect was in the custody of the Policeat ‘B’ Division in Warri, while further investigation is still ongoing just as FreshAngle gathered that the matter have been charged to court.
