Former House of Representatives Candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Dr. Veronica Ogbuagu says the party is determined to flush out all PDP agents masquerading as members of the ACN in Delta State.
Dr. Ogbuagu, a former Commissioner of Education in Delta State, made the declaration at Effurun during a meeting of ward representatives to appraise developments in the party.
The ACN Chieftain who averred that it is time for the party to scout for a suitable gubernatorial candidate devoid of ethnic sentiment in the 2015 polls, stated that it is time to change the State Chairman of the party, Chief Adolor Okotie-Eboh. According to her, apart from not “being able to articulate a vision and get everyone to rally behind it”, Chief Okotie-Eboh is trying to cause confusion in Delta Central after the demise of the Senatorial Chairman, Sir. Atsiangbe.
She accused the state party chairman of refusing to forward the name of Senator Adegor Eferakeya to the National body after he was “unanimously voted as member of the board of trustee”.
While berating Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege for abandoning the party for the PDP, Dr. Ogbuagu queried the rationale behind allowing a state woman leader who “absconded” from the party to re-appear after election and still hold on to her office.
