The Chairman of the Trade Union Congress, TUC in Kogi State, Comrade Ahmed Tijani, has charged Muslims across the Country to imbibe the lessons learnt from the holy month or ramadan.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that Comrade Tijani, gave the charge in a statement on Wednesday while felicitating with Muslims on this year Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
He thanked Almighty Allah on the successful completion of fasting adding that, Muslim faithfuls should imbibe and continue in the lesson of sacrifice, love, giving and supplications to Almighty Allah for a greater State and Nigeria at large.
" I implore you all to imbibe and practice the virtues that entails kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighborliness, compassion as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him)" he said.
On the issue of workers welfare, the TUC boss in Kogi State disclosed that the organized labour have constantly interact with Governor Ahmed Usman towards increasing workers monthly wages in line with the present economic reality.
