The Chairman of the DESOPADEC board, Olorogun Barr. John Obukokwo Nani, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Elder Sherriff Oborevwori on his first year in office .

 

Chief Nani, in a congratulatory message, stated, “Your Excellency, sir, you have justified the mandate freely given to you by God and the vast majority of the good people of Delta State. Since governance is a continuous process, your administration in Delta State has consolidated on the gains of the past administration of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.  

 

“You have seen the successful completion of some major legacy projects to sustain development in the state. This is in line with your campaign promises. 

 

“Your administration has prioritized infrastructural and human capital development in the oil-bearing communities. Your Excellency has deployed a more effective mechanism for sustained peace in the state and initiated policies and projects with direct bearing on the lives of our citizens, and without mincing words, Delta State is no doubt on the path of sustained growth and development with you at the helm of affairs. 

 

“The People’s Governor, sir, the successes recorded within one year of your administration in Delta State is unprecedented. I boldly state that Your Excellency is transforming the structural foundation of our dear state.  

 

“Deltans today have no regrets whatsoever for voting you into office and are also optimistic that your years ahead as the Governor of Delta State will take our dear state to an enviable height. 

 

“I want you to know that I'm so happy to congratulate you on your first year in office. We look forward to MORE prosperous and peaceful years ahead as you continue to navigate the affairs of our dear state. Be assured of our continued prayers, support, and loyalty, sir.” Chief Nani said.
