The spokesperson, Embassy of the United States of America, Russell Brooks says the US is making moves to make Baseball popular in Nigeria.
Brooks in a clinic organized by Baseball Tomorrow in Lokoja, Kogi State, expressed optimism that the game will be embraced by Nigerians in order to be able to feature in the League World Series.
According to him, Baseball is very popular in countries such as Japan, South Korea and Phillipines as well as in Latin America than the United States.
The spokesperson disclosed that there are plenty of opportunities opened for Nigerians ready to embrace Baseball, promising that adequate support will be given to them.
