But for the intervention of policemen attached to Ughoton Police station, near Jeddo in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, a thief identify simply as Victory, would have been burnt to death this morning, by angry youths of Ughoton community.
Our Co-Publisher/Managing Editor, reports that the said Victory was caught earlier today, by personnel of Tantita Security, when he was about to sell stolen items such as gas cylinder, an outdoor Polystar Air conditioner, a gallon of fuel and two pairs of pam slippers to an Aboki man at Ughoton.
The items in question, were reportedly stolen last night by Victory from the residence of one Mr. Atabe at Ukogbe street, Ugbokodo, after he (Victory) successful scaled through the perimeter fence in the compound.
Mr. Atabe, was told by the police that his stolen items were at the Ughoton Police station, when he went there to report the case of the overnight theft in his house.
It was at the police station that Mr. Atabe was informed that the robbery suspect, Victory, was caught by Tantita Security personnel, guarding pipeline along that corridor in Ughoton.
